  1. Application Submission: Practitioners, professionals, businesses, support services and resources interested in being listed on the wellness directory submit an application. The application form collects essential information about the applicant, their services, and their qualifications.

  2. Initial Review: Upon receiving applications, A Beaches Womens Wellness Ambassador, responsible for the wellness directory's management will conduct an initial review to ensure that all required information has been provided. Incomplete applications may be returned to the applicants for completion.

  3. Credential Check: Practitioner's/professional's qualifications, certifications, and licenses will be thoroughly checked to verify their legitimacy. This step is crucial to ensure that only qualified individuals are included in the directory. Relevant professional organisations and licensing boards will be contacted to confirm the authenticity of provided credentials. Mandatory Documentation Requirement checklist: Proof of identity, ABN, apropriate insurances, recognised qualifications and certifications for the services they provide, Working With Children Checks (WWCC) if working with minors.

  4. Experience and Expertise Assessment: Applicants will be evaluated based on their experience and expertise in their practice. This assessment will consider factors such as years of practice, specialisation, training, insurances, and any additional relevant qualifications and associations and client reviews.

  5. Client References or Portfolio Review: Practitioners and professionals may be required to provide client references or a portfolio of their work to showcase their effectiveness in providing services. Client feedback and success stories can contribute to the assessment of the practitioner's or professional's impact on clients' well-being.

  6. Adherence to Ethical Standards: Applicants must adhere to a set of ethical standards and guidelines that prioritise the well-being and safety of clients. This includes maintaining confidentiality, respecting boundaries, and following established codes of conduct within their respective professions.

  7. Content Review (For Resources and Businesses): For resources and businesses listed in the wellness directory, a content review will be conducted to ensure that the provided information is accurate, informative, and aligned with the wellness theme. Misleading or false information will result in disqualification.

  8. Background Check: A thorough background check will be performed on all applicants to ensure there are no ethical or legal concerns that could compromise the quality of services provided.

  9. Interview or Assessment: Depending on the nature of the wellness service, applicants may be required to participate in an interview or assessment to gauge their communication skills, approachability, and ability to engage effectively with clients.

  10. Continuous Monitoring and Review: Once included in the wellness directory, practitioners, professionals and resources will be subject to periodic reviews to ensure they continue to meet the established standards. This includes revisiting their credentials, reviewing client feedback, and assessing any changes in their professional status.

The application process for the wellness directory aims to maintain a high standard of professionalism, expertise, and ethical conduct among listed practitioners and resources. By carefully vetting applicants, the directory can provide users with trustworthy and valuable wellness-related services and information.

Once accepted, our BWW Ambassadors will collaborate with our practitioner or professional to highlight each one's unique knowledge, passions, and talents so that you may have a better idea of how that might help you with your wellness objectives.
